Viking by heart, sparkles by choice

Being the only male in my household, I embrace the phrase I said to my wife a while ago. “I’m Viking by heart, but sparkles by choice.” I have lots of roots in Germanic, Baltic, and Celtic history, so Viking/Norseman blood runs through my veins, and my girls keep the sparkles and glam flying around me all day. I wouldn’t change it for anything.

As a husband to a gorgeous wife, and father to two beautiful little girls, I look at the world and see beauty, ingenuity, intelligence, good etc. Unfortunately there is also great evil that can threaten all of these things at any given min. I believe that good citizens are the warriors we need to fight this evil domestically. I don’t believe you should seek trouble, or have something to prove. You should do everything in your power to resolve any altercation. peacefully. However, if evil threatens what I love most, and intends them harm in anyway, I will be prepared to stand, and protect.

Born and raised in Utah, I grew up playing sports, and then introduced to the fine arts, so I have a healthy appreciation for both. Some would say that warriors should only focus on physical prowess, and expertise in weaponry and the stratagems of war. However, Odin, the Allfather, was also one of the fiercest warriors, and also loved poetry. Warriors protect the beautiful things this life has to offer, (our wives, children, artistry, etc), without them, life is meaningless.
